Note that to be part of this directory of churches and chapels then the building must be open at some time other than just the service times, however this does not mean that it has to be open all day and everyday.

We are encouraging churches and chapels to be open for visitors. Visitor numbers to places of worship have increased steadily and the comments in visitor books testify to how much it is appreciated to find an open church or chapel. Inclusion of your church or chapel in this site and in the book is free. Please notify Rev. Thrower of requests to amend or delete entries.

New entries and major amendments to existing entries are listed on this page. Note that the text associated with new entries is not from Rodney Tomkins but from the church and edited by Rev. Clive Thrower.
